The climate for journalists and media workers has become increasingly unsafe – especially online. With this in mind, we reached out to Investigative Reporters and Editors Inc. (IRE) to plan a lunch-hour webinar where you can learn how to protect yourself from online threats before and after they happen.
At the session - which will be held from 1 to 2PM ET March 27 via Zoom – you can learn how to put up safeguards to protect yourself, how to respond when your work and your safety are threatened, and more.
The event is free for NewsGuild members.

Are you new to being a steward? Come and learn about the rights you and your coworkers have in the workplace, and how you can use them to advocate for coworkers in investigatory interviews. We will also discuss how to handle supervisors who are trying to put you off or trip you up.
