TNG is hosting a virtual screening and panel discussion for Guild members of the documentary Stripped For Parts. The film dives into how hedge fund Alden Global Capital has been gutting local newsrooms across the country and what it means for the future of journalism. We’ll also talk about how NewsGuild members at Alden-owned papers are fighting back.
- Watch the Film: We’ll send you a special link to stream the documentary anytime between Wednesday, Dec. 4, and Wednesday, Dec. 11 for you to share with your local members.
- Join the Panel: We’re hosting a virtual panel discussion with the film’s producer, Rick Goldsmith, and Guild members from Alden-owned newspapers at 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Dec. 11. It’s a chance to talk about the film and what we can do to fight back.
