How to Support the Wirecutter Strike

The bargaining committee is seeking a $300,000 increase to minimum salaries for the 65-person unit. Unfortunately, Wirecutter and Times management is choosing to sacrifice our biggest weekend of the year for a drop in the bucket: 0.029% of the $1 billion the Times has in the bank.

Here is how you can support the strike:

• The best way you can support the strike is to boycott Wirecutter from Nov. 25 to Nov. 29.
• Members would normally be putting in hundreds of hours of overtime during this shopping weekend, which funds their bills, holiday travel, and more. You can also show your support by donating to the GoFundMe to offset lost income during the strike.
