Annual Membership Meeting Set Amid Media Turbulence

What does the turbulence in the news industry mean for our jobs and our union?  Where will it all end? Come to the New York Guild's annual membership meeting to hear the latest of this ongoing story.
 
The Guild's annual meeting in this the year of our Local's 75th anniversary will take place on Tuesday, January 27th, at 6:15 p.m., at Guild Headquarters located in Suite 708, 1501 Broadway (between 43rd and 44th Streets), New York City. 
 
The agenda for this meeting includes reports by New York Guild President Bill O'Meara, Secretary-Treasurer Peter Szekely and Local Chairperson Art Mulford.  All members are urged to attend given the rapidly mounting challenges facing our industry. There will be an opportunity for members to ask questions. 
 
Attending this meeting also will give you a chance to meet fellow members from our 20 other units and to discuss the future of our union with Guild officers.
