Hear from workers across TNG and CWA, sharing current and past experiences with work stoppages and strikes–-including members from Fort Worth Star Telegram, Insider, and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. We’ll also have a special guest from the United Auto Workers talking about what their union is doing to prepare for what could be the nation’s largest strike in decades. Plus, new CWA President Claude Cummings will join us for a keynote on building worker power.
Through a series of interactive workshops and panels, you’ll learn :
- What makes strong contract campaign
- How you and your coworkers can build a militant and responsive workforce that’s excited and ready to take action
- How to identify the decision-makers on the other side who can actually move things at the bargaining table
- How to set the foundation for escalating actions leading up to a strike
- The important and necessary nuts and bolts of prepping and actually running a strike.
FOR GUILD MEMBERS ONLY. THIS EVEN IS NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
