Stress, Trauma, and Self-Care: Learn skills to cope with workplace stress, burnout and trauma

Workplace stress, burnout and trauma – especially in an increasingly hostile environment for the media – can take their toll on our mental health.

We want to help.

TNG-CWA is hosting two training sessions with The Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, a project of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism: ‘Stress, Trauma, and Self-Care.” Sessions will be held from noon – 1:15 pm ET on June 24 and June 25.

The trainings, led by Dart Center experts, will focus on how to cope with stress and trauma in the workplace and will include a briefing/slide presentation followed by Q&A/conversation.

Primary takeaways from the trainings will include:

  • Basic awareness of the impact of trauma exposure and related stresses on individuals and teams

  • Evidence-based practices in self-care and collegial support

  • Concrete guidance and techniques for enriching one’s coping skills and wellness

RSVP: Both sessions will be limited to 30 participants each so RSVP today.
