Bachrach Joins Executive Committee

Nancy Bachrach, winner of the local’s Tom Keenan Guild Service Award this year and treasurer of The New York Times unit, is the newest member of our Local Executive Committee (EC).

Bachrach, an outside advertising salesperson at The Times, was the only candidate to be nominated for the vacant EC seat at the October 21 Representative Assembly meeting.  She was declared elected to the seat at the close of business October 29, when no opposing contestants had been nominated via Guild-member petition. 

Had there been a contest, Bachrach would have run as a candidate of The Democratic Coalition Slate.
